Decentralized exchange Uniswap launched an NFT aggregator on its platform.

In an announcement on Wednesday, Uniswap said that users can now trade NFTs across major marketplaces like OpenSea, X2Y2, Sudoswap, Larva Labs and LooksRare. The aggregator can be used to identify listings at better prices.

“NFTs and ERC-20 tokens have largely existed as two separate ecosystems within crypto, but both are essential to growing the digital economy. Launching NFTs on Uniswap is our first step in building more interoperable experiences between the two,” said Uniswap.

The move comes roughly five months after Uniswap acquired the NFT trading aggregator Genie. Long-time Genie users will be eligible for a $5 million USDC airdrop with the launch of the new product.

The airdrop has been calculated based on a snapshot taken on April 15 at midnight UTC, with recipients grouped into two tiers. The first tier is eligible to receive $300 if their wallet completed one transaction before the snapshot, while the second tier can receive $1,000 if they held the Genie:Genesis NFT before the snapshot.

Uniswap also said it would offer gas rebates to the first 22,000 buyers on the marketplace, capped at 0.01 ETH. Overall, the platform claims to offer lower gas fees enabled by its recently launched Universal Router smart contract.

Universal Router groups ERC-20 and NFT trades into a gas-optimized router, allowing users to swap multiple tokens on Uniswap and buy NFTs across marketplaces in one transaction. According to Uniswap, this feature will save users up to 15% on gas costs compared to other aggregators on the market.
