The company that operates Odos, a decentralized exchange aggregator that has routed more than $100 billion in cumulative volume, is shutting down.
“After much consideration, the operating company behind Odos is winding down its operations,” the team said in a statement posted Thursday. “The app moves to read-only on July 27, and all Odos services shut down permanently on July 30, 2026.”
New account signups, wallet creation, and limit orders were switched off as of the announcement, though existing users can still swap and close out positions, according to the statement.
“There will be no further development, support, or maintenance from the team,” Odos said.
Move Your Assets First
Odos user funds stay on-chain and under their owners’ control, the team said. However, users who created a wallet through Odos using a social or email login need to transfer their assets to another wallet or export their private key before July 30. The team said wallet access and step-by-step instructions will remain available at its official page after the shutdown.
The ODOS token is a separate matter. The team said it exists on-chain independently of the operating company, adding that it does not custody or market-make it and the closure does not change the token’s mechanics. The Odos DAO, also separate from the company, is also expected to communicate its own plans in due course.
A Warning About Scams
The team, warning against scams, stressed that there will be no new products, token migrations, claims, or airdrops. “Anyone promoting these via DM, ‘support’ accounts, or ‘migration’ websites is a scammer,” it wrote in the thread, adding, “Never share your seed phrase or sign transactions from links claiming to be Odos.”
Odos launched in 2022 as a spin-out of venture incubator Semiotic Labs.
