Building off its success with the podcast, Unchained is expanding out to become a full crypto news publication, hiring additional editorial staff to bring the podcast’s no-hype coverage to news articles, analysis, opinion, videos, educational content, reviews, newsletters, a broader social media presence and more.
Unchained is seeking an experienced Sponsorships Manager to grow sponsorships across all its platforms as the publication itself grows. This role is perfect for a driven individual with a knack for sales who is excited about working as part of a team to broaden the audience for an established brand in crypto media and building for the long-term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sponsor Acquisition: Research and contact potential sponsors to generate sponsorships across all Unchained properties, including podcasts, newsletter, sponsored posts, advertorial, videos, website, etc.
- Sales Proposals: Develop and present customized proposals and quotes for potential sponsors
- Sponsorship Execution: Close and execute deals, ensuring that all aspects of sponsorships are carried out to sponsor satisfaction
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a growth strategy focused on revenue generation
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and refine strategy.
- Sponsored Content/Press Releases: Build out sponsored content and press release areas of the site.
- Jobs Board: With the web development team, create and manage a jobs board
- Brand Awareness: Stay abreast of publication goals and developments and continually update the deck to offer potential sponsors new opportunities.
- Client Value Maximization: Increase the value of current customers while continuously attracting new ones
- Market Development: Work with the director of audience development to help grow the brand visibility and the footprint for impressions
- Sales Process: Set the foundation for growth of the sales team by making scalable processes for future growth
- Industry Engagement: Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and cultivate sponsors for Unchained
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in crypto media
- Strong communication skills, IT fluency, and proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot)
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
